FOUNDATION
Where a suitable concrete base is not already in place, we supply and install a modern and cost-effective ground anchor/screw foundations, suitable for both large and small construction projects. This method is extremely versatile, environmentally friendly and durable. It screws quickly and easily to set out a stable foundation so that construction can start immediately. With the garden room built off the ground this helps to eliminate damp.
STRUCTURE
The structure is formed using Structural Insulated Panels which offer one of the highest levels of thermal efficiency. The insulation does not allow moisture ingress to degrade its performance which can occur with mineral wools and blown cellulose fibre products. Insulation U-values meet current building regulations.
ROOF
Durable 3-Ply Torch-On Felt Roofing not affected by the temperamental British weather or debris brought down by the wind and comes with a 20 year guarantee!
CLADDING
The external cladding finish you choose will have an impact on the appearance, durability and cost of your garden office. Some materials will require ongoing maintenance to keep them in prime condition and others have a natural durability that will need only a little or no maintenance. Here are some examples of what we can offer:
Cement fibre board CladdingsA stylish and strong fibre cement cladding, low maintenance weatherboard with a natural and beautiful Cedar or smooth texture, with a choice of 21 stunning colours. Made from advanced material fibre cement composite that offers the ultimate in fire, moisture, rot and pest resistance for a maintenance free all year round impressive look.
Thermowood CladdingA cost effective, heat-treated pine softwood that is more stable than untreated wood in changeable climatic conditions but still highly durable and will go silvery grey overtime or can have paint or stain applied
Siberian Larch CladdingOne of the most durable softwoods and a popular alternative to Cedar as it can cost significantly less but offers similar long-term natural durability and beauty. A clean natural yellow/straw in colour and like Cedar when left untreated to the weather will turn to a silvery grey.
Cedar CladdingA hard wearing natural material, available in a cost effective British Cedar that offers a uniform colour palette of pink and amber hues or the highest quality Canadian Cedar that have a varied colour palette, ranging from dark reddish brown to light amber with pink highlights, both silvering with age if untreated with a UV protection oil.
Composite woodManufactured from a unique combination of recycled hardwood and plastic, creating a tough, hard wearing, low maintenance finish with a traditional appearance of timber. Available in a selection of colours with a wood grain or brushed finish.
Metal and laminate claddingUsed on their own or in combination with other materials and textures, this brings compelling aesthetic and limitless design possibilities to create a truly original building look.
WINDOWS & DOORS
High quality energy efficient double glazed aluminium sliding doors, lightweight yet strong, and virtually maintenance-free. With high levels of security, impeccable functionality combining the strength needed to keep your garden building safe and warm with meticulous design. Available in a variety of colours, they allow the maximum natural light into your space.
INTERNAL WALLS & FLOORS
All the Internal walls will be plaster boarded, so that the the first-fix electrics can be recessed before the ceiling and walls are plastered and finished off with white skirting boards. The floor will be fitted with durable and easy to clean Laminate Flooring, available in a variety of colours, styles and textures, an easy surface to keep maintained.
ELECTRICS
An armoured cable is run from your existing consumer unit to your garden office, the route is to be determined and discussed during our initial design visit. We will provide ample LED internal wall lights and external up/down lighting, recessed white electrical sockets, Heating Oil Filled Electric Radiator and a small electrical consumer unit, all installed by a fully qualified and certified Electrician.

THE NEXT STEP
If you are now ready to release space in your home and add the perfect escape from the distractions of everyday household life, please contact us today for a friendly informative chat that will take you through the following stages:
Step 1
Arrange a site visit and conduct a preliminary site survey and discuss your garden room design options, providing you with information about our product, materials and service. In the vast majority of cases the garden building will not require planning permission.
Step 2
We will produce a detailed quotation for your approval.
Step 3
If you wish to proceed, we would ask for a £200 deposit which will secure you a start date and a detailed specification drawing to be signed once all the elements are agreed.
Step 4
So that the materials, panels, doors, windows etc can be prepared, a 25% deposit will be required before works commence.
Step 5
Foundations will be prepared on the agreed start date so that building works can commence thereafter.
Step 6
Once the building is water tight, normally after 2 weeks, before fitting out, a further 50% instalment will be payable.
Step 7
The final payment will be due upon completion (normally approx. 3 to 5 weeks depending on size and site conditions) ensuring that the customer is happy with the completed garden room project.
We would like to reassure our customers that we take the Covid – 19 pandemic very seriously and are following the government guidelines and will provide our own welfare facilities and only require pre agreed access to your home for electrical connection, where face masks will be worn at all times.
