Two Storey House Extension, Refurbishment and Landscaping.
This house had been poorly extended over the years and needed refocusing. Our design provides four double bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor and a fifth double bedroom/study on the ground floor.
The ground floor centres around a very large kitchen/dining room measuring 11m x 7m served by an impressive hallway and a further lounge/TV room. Off the hallway is a wet room/wc and a large cloak room to hideaway all those coats and shoes, the house now really serves as a family home bringing the occupants together much more than before when separated into smaller rooms with no flow. The build combines through colour render and bespoke western red cedar cladding and the insulation has been greatly improved by insulating the walls over and above the building regulation requirements which not only reduces heating bills in the winter but keeps the south/west elevations much cooler in the summer.
The soft and hard landscaping to the rear garden has been carefully considered, designed and built.

We did have grander plans which would have cost a lot more money, by building over the garage but soon realised that we didn’t need to do that with the design produced by them.
